CalendarSync
A private, self-hosted calendar synchronisation service.
CalendarSync is a personal instance of the open-source project keeper.sh, run on hardware owned by its single operator. It copies calendar events from one calendar service to another so they can be viewed in applications that do not support the original provider.
What it does
- Reads calendar events from a source calendar, such as an Apple iCloud calendar reached over CalDAV.
- Creates and updates matching events in a destination calendar, such as Google Calendar.
- Repeats this on a schedule so the destination stays current as the source changes.
The purpose is to make events from a calendar provider that a given task or scheduling application cannot read directly appear in one that it can.
Who can use it
This instance is private and serves a single operator. It is not open for registration and provides no service to the public. The application itself is behind authentication; this page exists to describe the application and is intentionally public.
Google data
When connected to a Google account, CalendarSync requests only the permissions needed to list that account's calendars and to create and update events in them. It does not read mail, contacts, files, or any other Google data. See the privacy policy for details on what is stored and for how long.
